Good Morning
I started out this card with the idea of entering it into the Simply Magnolia challenge, but the theme is "RED and /or PINK with WHITE". After colouring the wings and dress it looked to be more mauve than pink. So this card turned out to be just for the fun of it. I had this beautiful paper with butterflies on it and the background colour went so well with the mauve colour of the image. Because the paper is so beautiful I did not add to many embellishments.
Except for the image, the only embellishments that I added was these butterflies. They are actually white, but when I tried to colour them with my Copics they turned out to be absolutely stunning. The smaller butterfly is covered with Glossy Accent. The other butterfly is raised with some foam strips, just to give it a bit of dept. I just had to add some gems for a little sparkle.
I used Elf Tilda. Once again I used my circle die to make it look like she is sitting on the edge.
Here you can see the beautiful background paper, I just could not cover it with any other papers or embellishments.
Even though I started out with the idea of using pinks and whites for this card, I really like the way it turned out.
I am almost on my way home from my half day job (just a bit more to go) and then I will take another stab at trying to make a card for the Simply Magnolia Challenge.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Marika

Blue and Brown
Good Morning
I have been pondering about this colour combination for about a week and a half and this is what I eventually came up with.
A close up of the flowers.
A close up of my very pretty Tilda.
I am very happy with my end result, as usual the sentiment is missing, as I feel that this card can be used for any occasion and I can always add a sentiment later - to fit the occasion.
I will be entering this card into the Blue and Brown challenge on the Magnolia-licious challenge blog.
Thank you for staying and reading the blabbering of this crafty soul.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Marika
