Good Morning
I have made a new card and I would like to share it with you. I made this card for the Totally Gorjuss - something yellow, challenge. The challenge was to make a card using yellow. So here is my take on it.
I used the Edwin wants a hug stamp from Magnolia. The papers I used came as a gift with a magazine. This stack came from the Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine and the paper stack is called "Travel light" from We R Memory Keepers. I just love this stack of papers it is ideal for boy/men cards.
A close up of Edwin. I used my Copics to colour Edwin.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post, please leave me a comment as I love to read what you have to say.
Hugs,
Marika

Totally Gorjuss Challange - Hoilday
Good Afternoon
The weekend is over and we are at the beginning of a new week. Here in South Africa the schools have closed for a 3 week holiday. For me this is the first holiday since I have decided to stop to work and the kids are at home during the holidays. Hopefully we will not drive each other insane. The one good thing about this is that since it is winter here, we can all laze around in our PJ's and we can change and leave the house, if and when we are ready to.
But now I would like to show you a card that I made last week. I actually made this card for a challenge, but I think that I am to late to actually take part, but I will link the post in any case.
The challenge was to make a card with a holiday theme and what better Magnolia stamp than Tilda goes fishing (or at least from the Magnolias that I own). Totally Gorguss Challange - Holiday
I used watercolour pencils to colour this image, had some real fun using them for a change. I am going to make an effort to use the pencils and copics alternatively.
The holiday sentiment did not come out precisely as planned, I did not stick it down onto the card before I added the glossy accent.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post, have a great day.
Hugs,
Marika
