PINK TILDA ICE/BALLET PRINCESS

Good Morning to all my Crafting Friends

Here in the usually sunny South Africa, more precisely Pretoria, we are experiencing a few days of over cast weather and after the very hot days that we had, it is so nice to have the cooler weather.  I must admit, I love Spring and Summer, but I love weather like this even more.  It is ideal crafting weather, not to hot and not to cold and should there be rain falling down, that is even better.

Now for my card.  I will enter this card into the Magnolia-licious Challange.  This is the first time that I have coloured the image and then cut it out with a Spellbinder die with a piece of the image that is "hanging out".  I was a bit unsure of how to do this, but I am very happy with the result.

The scalloped "silver" circle is made from a piece of "material" like paper that is used in the Air Conditioning industry.  This is something that I received from a gent that is working with me and he knows that I love things like that - he knew that somewhere, sometime I will have use of it.  I just loved the way it worked out.

My Card with  Pink Tilda ice / ballet princess.  I have not coloured her in pink (as her name suggests), but I love the red and blue colour combination.

This is a close up of Tilda.

The dragon fly is a peel-off, I coulered it with a red marker, then I used Blue and Red gems on the body and little pearls on the wings.

I hope that you will all have a wonderful day and many, many inspiring ideas.  I must apologize for the shadows in my photos, they do not look as good as usual, but I forgot to take the photos at home and I really wanted to post this post this morning and here at work the lighting is not so very good.

Hugs,
Marika

Red and Blue - Tilda Sparkles

Good morning

The weekend is over and it is the start of another week.  In 2 days time the schools will start and that means that my two little angels will be going to school, they will be going to a big school but they are only in Grade R and RR, so there is no official school uniforms and so on.  Thank you for that!

Today I would like to share another Tilda card with you. This Tilda was done in Blue and Red.  This Tilda is Tilda Sparkles and she is the other half of my 2 Magnolia stamp collection.  So you will be seeing a lot of her.

The corners of the stamped image was punched with a corner punch and I then added some flower gems.  The image was coloured with my Copics.  The paper with "Happy Birthday" on is paper that I have had in my stash for some time.

The completed Tilda Sparkles card - this card will also go into my stash that I am building up for those moments when you need a card but do not have the time to make one.

Thank you for listening to the ramblings of a mother who would love to have more time to do crafting, but who actually loves her job as wife and mother.

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Marika
